Yes. Every Juna bar is built on a gentle, plant-based oil base with no SLS, parabens, mineral oils or synthetic fragrance, so it cleans without stripping your skin. If your skin is oily or acne-prone, Mooncoal (activated charcoal) and Sea Clay (Dead Sea mud and French green clay) suit you best. For dry or sensitive skin, Tangerine Bloom and Orange Coffee House are the gentler picks.

Cold-process soap is made slowly, at low heat, so the natural glycerin created during saponification stays in the bar instead of being removed. That glycerin is what keeps skin feeling soft rather than tight. Most mass-market bars are detergent-based and have the glycerin extracted for use in other products.

No. There is no SLS, no parabens, no mineral oil and no synthetic fragrance in any Juna soap. Scent comes only from pure essential oils, and colour from natural clays, charcoal and botanicals. The full ingredient list is printed on every product page.

Each batch is poured by hand and then cured for about four weeks before it is wrapped. Curing lets excess water evaporate, which makes the bar harder, milder and much longer-lasting in the shower. It is the reason we make in small batches rather than all at once.

Keep it on a draining soap dish, out of the direct spray of the shower. Handmade soap holds more glycerin than commercial bars, so it softens if it sits in standing water. Letting it dry fully between uses can nearly double how long a bar lasts.
